Spring of the river of Una in
Croatia
The river of Una is 212 km long. It springs in
Croatia, near Srb and flows through Croatia and Bosnia and Hercegowina but
mostly it makes a border between these two countries, since the begining of the
18 th century after the reconquest of Croatia from the Ottomans.
The spring has much water
because of the undergroun water. Just few days before there were big rains.
Una flows through two different areas: carst
area of the Dinarides and Panonian plain.
Una flows into the river of Sava
on the croatian-bosnian border.
